The first time I had to look through the tool box and see all of those sharp objects I’ve been carrying around in my back yard was when I found out the names of the tools I needed to fix things. After a little research, I found out that a good set of gardening tools can last for years. My wife has used mine for nearly two decades now. And she tells me I’m better off because I now have the equipment to fix ANYTHING. It’s pretty amazing really.
First gardening tool names that caught my eye were the wheelbarrow and shovel. Now these are pretty easy to fix around the house when there is a little dirt to move. When I used the wheelbarrow to pull up weeds, cut off some grass and put the weeds in a bed, it only took me a few minutes to accomplish. Now when I use my wheelbarrow to get the dirt out from under the weeds and plant the seeds for my next crop, I know it will be done in a snap!
Second on my list of gardening tools names is the pair of gloves. I guess my wife has since taught me, but I’ve been using these since I was a teenager. Growing up with four growing up children, we always had to protect our hands with a pair of heavy-duty gardening gloves that held grease and dirt and kept us from getting burned, stung or cut. Now as an adult, I use my gloves when I’m digging up dirt, tilling my field or pulling weeds and they serve me just fine!
